REFUND POLICY (Fall 2020 - Spring 2021)
If a parent wishes to withdraw their child from AYSO soccer they may do so at any time. Refund requests must be e-mailed to the Treasurer at [email protected]
WHY WE HAVE A REFUND POLICY
We understand that plans can change, and players may need to drop from a soccer program. At the same time, when a player is registered for any of our programs, we rely on this registration to begin incurring costs to accommodate the player’s enrollment. From the outset, we incur transaction fees, and we also incur the non-refundable cost of the player’s AYSO National Membership, which is prerequisite to registration in all AYSO 161 programs. As we near the start of the season, we incur substantial costs not only in uniforms and equipment, but also in the allocation of planning resources. For example, we design teams on the reliance that the player’s registration includes the player’s commitment to be part of the program. When someone drops from a team, we must dedicate resources to filling the gap.
Due to these costs, refunds are graduated in connection with our costs, as follows:
AYSO 161 REFUND POLICY
Refunds will be issued as follows:
For Fall Seasons
-Requests received between June 1, 2020 and July 15, 2020 will receive a full refund minus the Non-Refundable $20.00 National Fee and $2.75 Service fee.
-Requests received between July 16, 2020 and July 31, 2020 will receive a difference between Core Cost and uniform order cost, also minus the Non-Refundable $20.00 National Fee and $2.75 Service fee.
-NO REFUNDS will be issued after July 31, 2020.
For Spring Seasons:
-Requests received between Sept 1, 2020 and Feb 14, 2021 will receive a full refund minus the Non-Refundable $20.00 National Fee and $2.75 Service fee.
-Requests received between Feb 15, 2021 and March 31, 2021 will receive a difference between Core Cost and uniform order cost, also minus the Non-Refundable $20.00 National Fee and $2.75 Service fee.
-NO REFUNDS will be issued after April 1, 2021
Combo Fall/Spring Seasons:
The Refund policy includes Fall 2020/Spring 2021 combo season registrants. If you register for the Combo, and play one season but not the other, you are NOT eligible for a refund for the season you did not play.
Yearly $20.00 AYSO National Membership fee is NON REFUNDABLE along with $2.75 service fee.
After withdrawing from a program, you will retain the benefits of your annual AYSO National Membership, which you can take with you to any AYSO Region in the country over the course of the membership year in which the membership fee was paid.
